Circumstances surrounding his disappearance:
Logan was last seen in Tumwater, Washington on 19 May 2016. No one has heard from him since.
Logan played football at Tumwater High School. After his graduation in 2014, he attended Washington State University. His Alma Mater was 300 miles from home; however, he dropped out of university after he finished his freshman year and moved back home with his grandmother and half-sister. He worked multiple jobs, one being at his great-aunt's five-acre farm
His family described him as being quiet and sensitive. After he left college, his family noticed a difference in his demeanor. He became more withdrawn, cut ties with high school friends, and had not made any new friends at university.
He had been raised by his maternal grandmother, having had no contact with his father's family until shortly before his disappearance. He reached out to some of his paternal relatives and had an emotional meeting. He told them that if his grandmother (maternal) found out he had reached out to them and met with them, that she would be upset.
According to his maternal grandmother who raised him, Logan had been smoking a lot of marijuana at the time of his disappearance. Reportedly, there was tension in the family home between Logan and his sister's boyfriend. Logan did not like that the boyfriend moved into the home. The boyfriend was questioned about Logan's disappearance. He claimed to know nothing about Logan's disappearance, took a polygraph, and passed.
Towards the end of his senior year of high school, Logan was at a party with friends from school, and a girl there supposedly used a racial slur "jokingly", mocking his Saudi Arabian heritage. Some of his friends were present when this took place, and no one came to his defense. This hurt him deeply, and his grandmother recalled him saying "They weren't even there for me. I thought I had friends, and I don't."
The last time his grandmother heard from him, it was the morning of 19 May 2016. She said that Logan seemed anxious and told her he had an "epiphany" about himself that he needed to work through. She suggested they talk about it later that day. Unfortunately, that would be the last contact.
The next day, his grandmother was wondering where he was, so she pinged his phone. His phone pinged off a cell phone tower near his mother's home in Olympia, Washington. Naturally, she assumed that was where he was. Unfortunately, his mother hadn't seen him. Further activity on his phone indicated he went down south on Interstate 5, then back north, then south again, then north again, then south again.
A woman reporting to have seen Logan with two Caucasian men standing by Logan's Chrysler Sebring in the morning of May 20 on her way to work. The car was parked on the right shoulder of Interstate 5, Southbound near exit 95. On her way home, the vehicle was in the same spot, but the hood was up, and the vehicle was left unattended.
She reported that one of the men was 6 feet tall, with a very slim build, and then straight blonde hair in a bowl cut hairstyle. The tank top he was wearing was too small and the jeans he was wearing were too short. A sketch of this man is posted below.
The other man is described as having shoulder-length hair and was wearing a flannel shirt and jeans.
On May 20th, three people called to report a car drifting across the lanes of interstate 5 between Tumwater and Maytown, near mile post 92. There didn't appear to be anyone in the driver seat. It veered across 3 lanes of traffic towards the median, hitting the concrete barrier before it came to a stop.
A truck driver reported seeing a white male with brown or red hair jumping out of the passenger side of the vehicle and running towards the woods on the side of the interstate. While the description of this man didn't match Logan's description, the vehicle was matched as being his. When police got to the vehicle, they found Logan's wallet, ID, debit card, $25 in cash, cell phone, car keys, water bottle, along with other belongings and a grocery bag full of snacks in the center console.
An extensive search was conducted within a 2 mile radius of the area of Logan's car. Helicopters and tracker dogs were used with no sign of Logan. A week later however, someone at the Olympia Regional Airport checked in on his Facebook page.
It is completely out of character of Logan to leave without warning. Police believe he was suffering from mental illness. They state there was no evidence of foul play, but there is no indication that Logan is still alive either.
